TISM’s historic debut 7” single originally came in an LP size cover with all four sides sealed.
Unsealed copies now go for over a million dollars or something, so what better way to celebrate the 35th and a bit anniversary of this groundbreaking meisterwerk than to release the 7” sealed inside an 8 panel LP jacket and then put that inside a box.
TISM in their wisdom felt it only logical to then include a 12” disc with a 7” sleeve.
Enthusiastically agreeing to this preposterousness absurdity, DRW then surreptitiously filled the vinyl with previously unreleased TISM songs, and snuck a CD into the box, with not only all the songs from the 7” and LP, but a further 10 versions of “Defecate On My Face”.
The ultimate TISM collectible, until we come up with the next one, Defecate On My Face deserves a loving place in every music fan’s record rack, to fill up the gap and stop all the other records falling over.
