Second Glance was an Australian synth pop band.
The band released one EP, "Tomorrow" in 1983 now worth in excess of $150.
Second Glance then contributed a song to 1984's "Signal to Noise Set" compilation of Australian electronic artists. That album is now widely recognised as a significant release for the genre and "Shackles and Chains" as one of the album's highlights.
Second Glance commenced work on an album but never completed work on it at the time, returning to the original instruments and tracks in the early 2000s before again setting the project aside.
NOW nearly forty years later, the album has finally been completed and released by German label Young and Cold.
Piano contains upbeat dance tracks contracted with beautiful moments of reflection. A classic electronic synth-pop album, assumed lost forever, is finally available!
